Overview

This full-day tour checks off two fascinating locations in one go—a great way to learn more about Japan’s history and culture if you’re short on time. Spend your morning exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakawa-go, a village famous for its traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses. Ogimachi Castle Old Site Observatory

The Ogimachi Castle Site Scenic Lookout affords visitors unimpeded views over the village of Ogimachi, the central settlement in Shirakawa-go and part of the “Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama” World Heritage Site.
You can choose to hike the gentle slope on your own or make your own way to the observation deck by shuttle bus.

Both the 1 Day and AM Bus Tours depart from the same point. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure and look for green and white flag "Japan Panoramic Tours".

The 1 Day Bus Tour finishes around 16:45 at Kanazawa Station. The AM Bus Tour finishes around 13:00 at Kenrokuen Garden, allowing you to continue your day exploring the neighborhood on your own.

The live guide is in English. A multilingual audio guide is available in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Ukrainian — please request your preferred language when booking.

Children of all ages are welcome. Infants must sit on laps and are not charged a separate fare. Most travelers can participate; the bus is stroller-accessible but not wheelchair-accessible.
